For library employees: How do I troubleshoot Internet connection problems at the hexagon table?

Here are a couple of things you can try when there are connectivity problems at the hexagon.
- First, check that the Ethernet cables are securely plugged into the ports on the post -- students sometimes bump the wiring and knock PCs off the network.
- If multiple PCs are off-line also check the small blue Ethernet switch on the tabletop. Sometimes (especially after we have a power glitch in the library) the switch will lock up. Cycling the switch's power by unplugging the power cord from the back of the switch, waiting 15 seconds, and plugging the power cord back in resets the switch.
