I'm trying to use Pearson MyITLab and some MyITLab links don't work. What do I do?

Answer

For MyITLab to work correctly you must disable pop-up blocking in your browser.

To check whether pop-up blocking is the problem, try this: When you click a link in MyITLab do you see a message at the top of your browser window that says this (or something similar)?: "Firefox prevented this site from opening a pop-up window."

If you see this message hold down the Control key and click the link again. The link should now open in a pop-up window.

For instructions on how to disable pop-up blocking in Firefox, Internet Explorer, and other browsers, see this Pearson help page: https://support.pearson.com/getsupport/s/article/Pop-Up-Blockers.

[Note that on the library's computers you'll need to disable pop-up blocking each time the PC is rebooted.]

If you need more help, ask at the Circulation Desk or any librarian's office.
